We provide a complete analysis of the performance of the human body.  We use the latest technology to identify and eliminate limitations in the cardiovascular, respiratory and metabolic systems.

Resting Metabolic Rate can account for over 70% of your daily energy requirement.  In the REST test, you will learn how much energy you spend at rest, how effectively you use your fat stores and how you can improve your metabolic health.

This test is for you if:

  • you want to effectively change your body weight,
  • you want to quit smoking,
  • you want to get rid of metabolic problems (after chronic diets, fasting),
  • you suffer from hormonal disorders, metabolic syndrome, obesity or hypothyroidism,
  • you practice a sport discipline in which there are different weight categories,
  • you want to start eating consciously.

After the test, the data is analyzed and delivered in the form of a report.

From the test results you will learn:

  • the amount of calories you burn at rest,
  • your daily energy requirement,
  • how effectively you breathe,
  • how efficiently your body uses fat at rest,
  • which parameters you can improve and how to do so.

How to prepare for the test?

This test can be performed at any time of the day.  It is important that the control test be performed at a similar time period of the day.

  • Do not drink coffee and any other energy drinks 5 hours before the test
  • Avoid intensive training at least 24 hours before the test
  • If you are taking prescribed medications, continue taking them
  • Dress comfortably
  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your test to prepare.

The test procedure:

The REST test is performed lying down and lasts 10-15 minutes.

How often should you repeat the test?

  • Every 8-12 weeks if you are actively working on your body weight (muscle reduction/building),
  • others: once a year.

The ACTIVE test is an ideal solution for every active person.  We will identify limitations that may have hampered your progress in training so far.  Thanks to this test, we will maximize the effectiveness of your training programme. We will give you the tools to effectively reach your goals and monitor your progress. The test is performed on a cycle ergometer or a treadmill.

This test is for you if you want to:

  • more effectively set and achieve training goals,
  • improve your metabolic health (use fats more effectively),
  • determine and improve your aerobic and respiratory fitness levels,
  • effectively power your body during training, competitions and matches,
  • precisely select a nutrition and supplementation strategy,
  • receive solutions, not raw data,
  • successfully reduce your body weight if you’ve unsuccessfully tried for years,
  • work on real data, which is useful in sports nutrition, physiotherapy or training

We will provide you with the full report after the data evaluation and analysis.

The test report will also provide you with information on your metabolic thresholds, Vo2Max, training zones and your recovery level

From the test results you will learn:

  • the amount of energy (calories) you spend at a given intensity
  • the training intensity that elicits maximal fat burning (FATmax).

The test procedure 

If you perform Compleat REST and ACTIVE in one visit, we will start with the REST first. Next, we will perform a spirometry test and proceed to the preparation for the ACTIVE test. In the first part, we will conduct a short warm-up and set the test intensity levels. You will perform the preparation protocol as well as the actual test while wearing a mask.  The preliminary results will be disclosed to you immediately after the test. We will provide you with the full report after the data evaluation and analysis.

How to prepare for the test?

A consent to undertake physical activity will be required. In addition:

  • If you are taking medications, do not stop taking them
  • Wear your sports clothes and shoes
  • Take a bottle of water, a towel and a change of clothes with you (if you plan to take a shower after the test)
  • Bring a snack to eat after the test
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes in advance
  • Do not train at least 24 hours before the test (we suggest 48 hours without training before the test).

How often should you repeat the test?

If structural limitations are identified, we recommend that you perform your first control test after 8 to 12 weeks. 

Important; this test may be useful after a Covid-19 infection.

Compleat BODY

anthropometric measurements according to the international ISAK protocol (and analysis of body mass and composition using the BIA method)

Objective monitoring of changes in body composition and weight is a very important element of working with a dietitian. Do you want to realistically set your body figure goals? Do you want to start monitoring changes periodically? We will do this using the international ISAK protocol.

This test is for you if you:

  • want to correctly and realistically define your body figure goals,
  • are after chronic diets,
  • have a problem with maintaining a stable body weight,
  • want to optimize your body composition for better sports performance

We will provide you with the full report after the data evaluation and analysis.

We will check:

  • skin fold thickness (sum of 6 to 8 measurements in mm),
  • girth measurements,
  • height and arm span,
  • bone breadths,
  • % of body fat and muscle mass,

 … and we will conduct a BIA (bioelectric impedance analysis).

How to prepare for the test?

The BODY test should be performed in similar conditions each time:

  •  wear a sports outfit – preferably a top and shorts (short and tight), for men – briefs,
  • do not use body lotions, creams and ointments because calipers measurements require the skin to be clean and dry,
  • the test is performed on an empty stomach (if performed in the morning) or 3-4 hours after the last meal,
  • abstain from vigorous physical activity on the day of the test and the day before,
  • perform the test each time in a similar state of hydration (normal hydration),
  • avoid consuming caffeine on the day of the test, 
  •  avoid consuming alcohol 24 hours before the test,
  • empty your bladder at least 30 minutes before the test.

The test procedure 

The test will take approximately 30 minutes.  You should arrive at least 10 minutes before the test.

How often should you repeat the test?

Depending on the phase of the sports season and your goals, we suggest individually selecting the frequency of body composition monitoring.
